Scraps was a HC band from Lille, in north of France. They debuted with a demo tape in 85, in 86 they made their 1st EP 'Apartheid'. Weirdly enough Scraps are more known abroad than in France. the reason (amongst others)was that they were close to others countries like Belgium Netherland, etc... They were really considerated as a influence for a few french bands in the early 90's.
They lasted till the mid 90's with a different sound (still hardcore), with 2 LP's and a couple of 7"s.
Now the drummer is in a hardcore band, called Negative Youth (or something similar...)
This band is also known in France, to be ridiculously PC...
