This is more of a novelty to me than anything else, but I thought it was apropos to post, considering all that is going on right now with
Iran's nuclear aims and with Hezbollah in
Lebanon.
I never knew much about this group except that (1) they are from Texas (2) supposedly have at least one Iranian-American member, and (3) share at least one member (possibly two) with the Butthole Surfers.
As with, it seems, everyone these days, they have a
MySpace page. These same tracks can be streamed there and downloaded from
7Inchpunk.com here (thanks to 7inchpunk.com for the above image). If I'd known, I would have just downloaded their mp3s rather than make my own.
AT THE REQUEST OF THE COPYRIGHT HOLDER, THESE MP3s HAVE BEEN REMOVED. They are still available here on Amazon.

Cool breeze. Link uploaded. Thanks.
Wifee-pooh is going to kill you...
This band was from San Antonio TX. The original singer was Iranian.
The singer that replaced him was a skinhead latter turned Rastafarian named Matt. The band had a cult skinhead following (ultraviolence). The whole terrorist thing was tongue in cheek and all the locals knew that. The shows these guys used to put on where insane. They used to tell the crowd to, Fuck shit up! and they would oblige.
Matt left the band and sang in a reggae band called Buffalo Soldiers for a bit. FIFH got a third singer and it didn’t last long and thus was the beginning of the end of an era.
Not sure about the Butthole Surfer reference. I do know that Gibby was attending San Antonio College at the time so some of the members of BHS could have played in the band.
I hung out with these guys one night. My buddy and I were at Matt's apartment. (Matt Cheswick) if I remember right. He stayed there with another kid named Little Johnny. He was like 16 and covered with tats already. They had an eviction notice "for calling some niggers, niggers." stabbed into the wall with a dagger. Classic. This was my first encounter with any Skinheads. We smoked and drank beer while they drank Dr. Pepper and watched. They were drug and alcohol free. Very cool to us too. Matt made me a Fearless shirt with this silkscreen stuff he had.
These fellas indeed started as a joke band in San Antonio Texas in the early 1980's. The little known and much fledgling punk scene there at the time was full of 'em and this was one of the few that actually committed their "joke" to vinyl.
The bassist of F.I.F.H. was in an early version of the Butthole Surfers (pre-1st LP) and later performed with other local groups.
These guys've been one of my All-Time-Favorite Bands's for-fuck!-25 years now. Fuckin' genious! And increasingly hilarious as the world keeps goin' down that same old drain...there's finally a discography-type product available for quick & painless consumption: the ep's & 3 lp's are all there. The only thing I wanna know is if ALL THE LYRICS are included. Aint worth a damn unless you can sit back, read along and die laughing...GOOD! FUCKIN' BYE!!!
Yeah they WERE great but I am really amazed to see that "AT THE REQUEST OF THE COPYRIGHT HOLDER, THESE MP3s HAVE BEEN REMOVED".
Now they became the MONEY MAKING IRANIANS WHO NEED A BIG CAR or maybe the OLD IRANIANS WITH A NEED FOR DIAPERS, and they're probably unable to play their old songs.
If anyone wants a copy of their "original" demo..email me: darthvato2010@gmail.com
